With a new financial year starting we are all looking forward to what this year will bring Karstens has experienced an increase in bookings compared to last year and it seems that a lot of companies have put training back on the agenda!
Karstens Sydney is now well established and we have had lots of great feedback from clients regarding the location and facilities.
Currently I am visiting Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra to select affiliate venues with similar facilities as Karstens. This will give Karstens clients the convenience of booking their training/conference in all major cities with one contact person.
Karstens breakout area’s in Melbourne (levels 9 and 12) and Sydney now display black and white framed photographs by Kate Karsten (yes my partner); her magnificent photos are of landmark buildings and street life of Melbourne and Sydney. They are a great distraction while having a well deserved break. Prices start from $55.00

Discount Room Hire for Computer Training Rooms

Karstens offers a 50% discount on room hire for Computer Training Rooms in the month of August to all new users of our computer training rooms. The classroom style training rooms have natural light and are fitted with ergonomically designed furniture seating 8 to 20 participants.
Our technical staff can image and configure software and access permissions to suit your requirements. Whether you require a secure network, remote access or client-trainer monitoring software, we can assist.

Karstens Video Conferencing

Karstens has partnered with Video Link International to launch our video conference services. Karstens rooms can now connect with more than 2,500 public video conferencing facilities worldwide. It translates into a smarter way of working.
Using the latest convenient Polycom technology we can bring multi point parties together cost effectively and efficiently without the time and expense of travelling. Recently we arranged for 60 conference delegates in Melbourne and in Sydney to be connected through these state of the art units.
Services now include:
• High-definition picture quality; no embarrassing pixilation or time-lag
• Multipoint calls
• Ability to share documents
• Capacity to record and stream your meetings.

Handy online tools to boost your productivity

There are plenty of simple and effective business applications available online that can make a big difference to your organization at very little cost.
In our experience, if you have a business or organizational need that could be solved with software, don’t try to create your own – instead, start by assuming that someone has already solved it! Wufoo: Need to collect data via a web form but don’t want to hassle your IT department? Wufoo may be the answer for you. It’s a simple online form creation tool that you can use to make and distribute customer surveys, collect data, capture enquiries, and even accept payment for event bookings. Forms can be hosted on the web by Wufoo, or integrated into your website.
EchoSign: If you need to get agreements signed, you should seriously consider EchoSign. It allows people to sign your documents electronically, and provides a secure and easy to manage contract repository. You’ll find that people sign & return documents much faster than traditional paper versions, plus everything is in one central location (and signed agreements are also emailed to you)
AWeber: Many organizations have an email newsletter that they send out regularly to their customers and prospects. There are many web-based solutions to make this process really easy, but one of the best is AWeber. You can easily create and send great looking email newsletters, measure the response, handle signups and unsubscribes, and much more.
Website Grader: Are you looking to improve your website’s performance in search engine rankings? Forget the snake oil salesmen and technical mumbo jumbo. Try Hubspot’s website grader tool to get a free report of how your website is performing and practical tips on improving your search engine optimization (SEO). There’s no cost - all you need to do is enter your website URL.
Freshbooks: If you’re a small business looking for a simpler way to invoice people and collect payment, it’s worth considering Freshbooks. It’s a very easy to use online solution for sending and managing invoices. You can use it as a standalone solution (if your business is small) or integrate with your existing accounting system. Either way, you’ll stay on top of things & get paid faster.
